The second question is crucial as your activities to a large extent what you need. If you are solely checking mails and/or social medias on the internet, you do not need more than 10 Mbit/s. in download speed. On the other hand, if you play video games or watch a lot of high definition live streaming, then you might need 50 Mbit/s. You rarely need more than 100 Mbit/s in download speed.
